Zella Byers is the Founder and Overseer of Revelation Truth Center (RTC).  Overseer Byers established RTC in 1985, defying insurmountable odds. As a woman of great faith, Overseer Byers provided a prophetic blueprint for securing a church location that members could call "home." She has established a solid foundation and her messages of hope, healing, and guidance will remain a lasting legacy.  

Overseer Byers is passionate about individuals receiving Jesus Christ, walking in freedom, and fulfilling their God-given destinies. She has a special heart for young people and she has guided multiple generations to spiritual and natural success.

In 2023, Overseer Byers passed the pastoral mantle to her son-in-law (Walter), and her daughter (Brittany). 

Pastors Walter and Brittany Davis are natives of Charlotte, NC. They were united in marriage in 2011, which was the fulfillment of a prophecy from Overseer Byers.

Pastor Walter is an entrepreneur and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. He is a testament of God's ability to save, deliver, and transform. Pastor Walter is the visionary and founder of Triumphant League, a church-based men's basketball league. He is passionate about helping men understand their identity in Christ. He is also passionate about grounding individuals in sound doctrine and demonstrating what it means to be a follower of Christ.

Pastor/Dr. Brittany Davis holds a PhD in Social Work. In addition to her church call, she is a community leader/activist, clinician, educator, and policy researcher. Dr. Davis is passionate about revealing the thoughts and heart of God and bringing people into deep encounters with His Presence/Glory. She is also passionate about seeing individuals set free from evil spirits, strongholds, and destructive cycles.

Tamara Austin is a part of RTC's ministerial team. Min Austin is a lifelong member who began preaching at a young age. She is known for her dynamic/engaging preaching style and her ability to charge the congregation. 

Min. Austin holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Geography and she possesses multiple spiritual and natural gifts. She is passionate about reaching "the least of these" and being a beacon of hope.

Sister Michelle Belk-Massey RTC's Lead Children's Church Teacher. She was the Co-Director of RTC's first youth choir, "The Gospel Angels." Sister Belk-Massey helped to expand the youth choir's reach, including their appearance on a local television show.

Sister Belk-Massey is passionate about serving and has served as a model and mentor for many youth.

Tarus Dowell is a deacon at RTC. Deacon Dowell has been a member of RTC for 20+ years. He has faithfully heeded the call of a Deacon. He has provided administrative, church maintenance, transportation, and teaching support. 

Deacon Dowell is a family man and is known for his warm greeting, and infectious smile.  

Klarissa Byers, the eldest daughter of Overseer Byers, is RTC's drummer and business administrator. She is known for her prophetic drumming and exceptional administrative abilities.

Ms. Byers is the Founder and President of Renewed Inspiration. Her vision is to help foster respect and self-esteem in young women ranging from middle to high school. Her goal is to develop an atypical program that places an emphasis on life values such as self-esteem, making positive choices and overcoming obstacles. 

Ms. Byers received her Bachelor's Degree from Winston-Salem State University and her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University. She is a Success Coach with Communities and Schools and a active volunteer in the community.
